Memorable Moments

Science teacher Jocelyn Mitchell applied for and received a Free to Learn grant to fund admission to the New England Aquarium. Teachers carefully designed lesson plans to prepare all students, activities were organized so students made connections to class work, and field trip groups were designed to allow Big and Little Sister connections to flourish. Highlights included studying Chelonia mydas, better known as Myrtle, the green sea turtle (above).

It was a memorable and worthwhile day!  The best part about the adventure was that it is just one of so many memorable moments that take place regularly at Our Sisters' School, where we strive to engage all students in active learning through real experiences on a daily basis. Come visit us any time, andYOU too can have a memorable and authentic learning experience with us.
